The Art of Garbage


Sorry, this is not A Sunny Afternoon on the Island of Le Grande Jette by George Seurat, but just 106,00 aluminum cans carefully arranged by Chris Jordon, using the number of what Americans are using in every 30 seconds over the country.

I am not a big fan of green, but when imaging how much time the artist has used on just collecting cans around beaches and streets.. it really pretty amazing and what a passion he has got.

Take a look at this close-up and you will perhaps, wonder like i did, how many times he has walked back and forth changing the colour arrangement:
